German Marquez dominant against Padres

German Marquez allowed one earned run on three hits and one walk while striking out two over seven innings in Sunday's win against the Padres.
Fantasy Impact:
Marquez turned in his best outing of the season Sunday, and impressively did so at hitter-friendly Coors Field against a dangerous Padres lineup. It was a much-needed bright spot in an otherwise difficult campaign. Following the win, Marquez now holds a 1-6 record with an 8.27 ERA and 1.70 WHIP over eight starts. He’s scheduled to face the Diamondbacks on the road Saturday, a challenging matchup, as Arizona ranks second in MLB with a .796 OPS against right-handed pitching.
