Lucas Giolito allowed no earned runs on two hits and one walk while striking out five over 6.2 innings in Sunday’s win against the Royals.

After giving up 10 hits and six earned runs on May 6 against the Rangers, Giolito bounced back nicely only giving up two hits in 6.2 innings. After Sunday's performance, Giolito now has a 4.13 ERA and 1.23 WHIP to go with a 2-1 record across four starts this season. He’s slated to face the Braves on Saturday, a team that ranks 15th in MLB with a .714 OPS against right-handed pitching.
