Mark Vientos went 2-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's win over the Cubs, getting the start at third base. His performance included a solo home run in the sixth inning off southpaw Matthew Boyd.
Fantasy Impact:
Vientos has recorded three of his five home runs and 11 of his 17 RBI this season over his last 17 games, slashing .313/.366/.500 during that stretch since returning from a minor groin injury on April 22. The 25-year-old started at third base Sunday against a left-handed pitcher; Brett Baty had started the previous three games at the hot corner against right-handers.
