Brayan Rocchio optioned to Triple-A

The Cleveland Guardians optioned Brayan Rocchio to Triple-A Columbus on Monday. After opening the season as the team's primary shortstop, a role he also held last season, Rocchio's playing time had diminished in recent weeks. (Guards Insider)

Rocchio posted a .165/.235/.198 slash line through his first 35 contests this season. Gabriel Arias has recently been receiving most of the playing time at shortstop for Cleveland.
