Kevin Kelly (glute) might start a minor-league rehab assignment next week for the Tampa Bay Rays. Kelly, who landed on the 15-day injured list April 11 with a left gluteal strain, had resumed playing catch in recent weeks and was hoping to begin mound work last Wednesday, though the team has not confirmed if he progressed to bullpen sessions.
