Fantasy Impact:
Diaz has made seven appearances (six starts) with Triple-A Tacoma this season, recording a 5.87 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. He also made one relief appearance for the Mariners on April 11 against the Tigers, tossing 1.1 scoreless innings. With Bryce Miller (elbow) placed on the 15-day IL, Diaz is expected to take his spot in the rotation. He’s currently slated to start Friday’s game against the San Diego Padres.
