Hunter Brown's Strong Outing Falls Short in Tough Loss to Rangers
by Chase Davis | Astros Correspondent | Fri, May 16th 8:27am EDT
Hunter Brown allowed one earned run on three hits and no walks while striking out nine over eight innings in Thursday's narrow defeat to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Brown owns a 1.43 ERA and 0.83 WHIP with a record of 6-2 across nine starts this season. He was slightly outdueled in this one, as Jacob deGrom walked away with the victory. However, Brown has been nothing short of elite this season. His strikeout and walk rates are career-bests, as he's allowing a career-low hard-hit rate. It has been an impressive breakout season for the young righty, who gets the Tampa Bay Rays next time out.
