Mick Abel has officially been recalled from Triple-A to make his big league debut Sunday. (Philadelphia Phillies on X)

The Phillies' #8 prospect has had a terrific season in Triple-A, sporting a 2.53 ERA in 8 starts. This will likely be a spot start as Taijuan Walker is expected to take this spot in the rotation next time around. Daniel Robert was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.
