Orioles interim manager Tony Mansolino said a rehab assignment for Colton Cowser could be coming "quicker than we think." (Brendan Mortensen on Twitter)

Cowser was able to take batting practice over the weekend. He was transferred to the 60-day injured list at the end of April.
