Lance McCullers strikes out eight, walks three Thursday

Lance McCullers pitched 4.1 innings in a no-decision Thursday against the Mariners, allowing two runs on five hits and three walks while striking out eight. He landed 52 of his 91 pitches for strikes. The eight strikeouts more than doubled his previous season total.
Fantasy Impact:
Thursday marked McCullers' fourth start in his return to major-league action since 2022. He has issued three walks in three of those outings. Through 12.1 innings this season, he has a 6.57 ERA, 2.03 WHIP, and a 14:10 K:BB ratio. His next start is tentatively projected to be at home versus the Athletics.
