Miguel Amaya will be placed on the IL due to a left oblique strain. (Taylor McGregor on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Amaya will get imaging done this week, so the extent of the injury is still unclear. Still, the Cubs decide to move forward with placing him on the IL in order to bring another healthy catcher onto the roster behind Carson Kelly. Moises Ballesteros and Reese McGuire are potential options to be be called up.
