The Diamondbacks are expected to option Kevin Ginkel to Triple-A Reno on Friday.

Ginkel has posted a 13.03 ERA over 9 2/3 innings in the month of May. Arizona is expected to promote Jeff Brigham to take his spot in the bullpen.
