Fantasy Impact:
Teel, the White Sox's No. 2 prospect, will be called up to the majors after slashing .300/.401/.456 across 188 career minor league games. While he has played catcher throughout his career, he's been taking practice reps at first base in recent days. This suggests he could see time there at some point in the season, especially with Edgar Quero starting behind the plate for the White Sox. Initially, we can expect Teel to split time between catcher and designated hitter as he gains more comfort at first base.
