The Guardians have drafted right-handed White Sox prospect Peyton Pallette with the ninth pick of the MLB Rule 5 Draft. (MLB.com)

Pallette, 24, was ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the Whits Sox system, as per MLB Pipeline. The right-hander appeared at both Double-A and Triple-A in 2025, combining for a 4.06 ERA across 52 appearances. He must remain on the Guardians' active roster for the entire 2026 season or be offered back to the White Sox for $50,000.
