Devin Williams secured his ninth save of the season in Thursday's 1-0 win over the Royals. He worked a perfect ninth inning, recording one strikeout to close out the victory.
Fantasy Impact:
Williams has successfully converted all three of his save opportunities since returning to the closer role following an injury to Luke Weaver (hamstring). The 30-year-old now has nine saves on the year, along with 32 strikeouts, a 1.30 WHIP, and a 5.68 ERA in 25.1 innings pitched.
