The New York Mets officially placed Kodai Senga on the 15-day IL with a right hamstring strain on Friday. (New York Mets on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Senga suffered a hamstring strain in Thursday's start against the Nationals while making a play at first base. He is eligible to return June 28, but it's unclear if he'll need more than the minimum 15 days before rejoining the rotation. In a corresponding move, Max Kranick was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse, and Paul Blackburn will likely take Senga's spot in the rotation.
