MacKenzie Gore (3-6) was tagged with his first loss since May 23 on Sunday, despite delivering his fifth consecutive quality start. Pitching for the Washington Nationals, he allowed two runs on eight hits and one walk over six innings while striking out five. Gore yielded a run in each of the first two innings before tossing four scoreless frames.
