Jameson Taillon (7-4) took the loss Thursday against the Brewers, a defeat that snapped his five-game winning streak dating back to May 20. He was charged with five runs on eight hits and a walk over four innings, striking out two. The right-hander allowed two home runs and surrendered all five runs within the first three frames.

Fantasy Impact:

Thursday's outing marked just the fifth time in 15 outings that Taillon has not recorded a quality start. However, the two home runs he allowed bring his season total to 18, which leads the National League. The 33-year-old now has a 3.84 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and a 67:17 K:BB ratio through 86.2 innings. His next start is scheduled for a road matchup with the Cardinals next week.
