Willie MacIver hits first MLB homer in two-hit game

Willie MacIver recorded his first major-league home run in Thursday's extra-inning win over the Astros, finishing 2-for-3 with a double, a stolen base, and a solo shot. The homer opened the scoring in the second inning. It was MacIver's second multi-hit effort of the season.

Through 13 contests this season, MacIver is batting .237 with one homer, three RBI, three runs scored, two steals, and three doubles. He is expected to continue sharing catching duties with Austin Wynns while Shea Langeliers (oblique) is on the injured list.
