The Pirates claimed Darrell-Hicks from the Los Angeles Angels on June 13, and he will now get an opportunity with the Pirates. He pitched two innings with Triple-A Indianapolis, not allowing a hit while recording one strikeout. He'll likely be used in a low-leverage bullpen role.
