Jose Soriano allowed no earned runs on just three hits and two walks while striking out seven over seven innings in Thursday's victory against the Braves.

After today’s win, Soriano has a 3.54 ERA and 1.40 WHIP to go with a 7-5 record across 19 starts this season. This was a huge improvement over his four-inning, eight-earned run outing last time against the Nationals. Soriano continues to be the best pitcher in baseball at keeping the ball on the ground, as he's allowed only one homer in his last 75 innings pitched. He'll look to stay on track next time out against the Rangers.
