Boston Red Sox right-hander Justin Slaten has yet to throw off a mound and is making slow progress since hitting the injured list on Jun 1. (MLB.com)

Slaten was transferred to the 60-day injured list on June 28 and it seemingly a ways off from returning. The 27-year-old is being missed in the Red Sox bullpen as he owns a 3.09 ERA across 68 career appearances with the Red Sox over the last two seasons.
