Clay Holmes allowed four earned runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three over 5 1/3 innings in Saturday's loss to the Reds.

The right-hander has offered mixed results on the mound of late, allowing three or more runs in three of his last six starts for the Mets. After yesterday’s performance, Holmes now has a 3.48 ERA and 1.27 WHIP to go with an 8-5 record across 20 starts this season.
