The Giants acquired Tidwell and outfield prospect Drew Gilbert as part of the swap for Rogers on Wednesday. The 24-year-old allowed 15 earned runs and four homers in 15 innings with the Mets this season and posted a 4.10 ERA in 17 outings (14 starts) for Triple-A Syracuse.
