The New York Mets have traded reliever Jose Butto to the Giants as part of the return for right-handed reliever Tyler Rogers. (Will Sammon on Twitter)

The Mets sent Butto and two prospects in Blade Tidwell and Drew Gilbert to the Giants in exchange for Rogers. For his part, Butto has posted a solid 3.64 ERA in 34 relief appearances this season and owns a 3.45 ERA across 74 career outings (15 starts).
