The New York Mets activated Brandon Waddell from the 15-day injured list and have optioned him to Triple-A Syracuse. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
After completing a rehab assignment that began on August 6, Waddell will not rejoin the big league club and will instead remain in the minors. He has posted a 4.00 ERA and 1.30 WHIP across 27 innings in the majors this season.
