Fantasy Impact:
This is so unfortunate for Amaya, who was in his first game back after spending more than two months on the IL due to an oblique injury. On the other hand, the diagnosis could have been worse for the young catcher, considering that he was carted off the field after beating out an infield single. When Amaya has been healthy this season, he has been productive, posting an .814 OPS across 103 plate appearances. Top prospect Owen Caissie will be called up Thursday to take Amaya's place on the roster.
