Cal Quantrill claimed by Braves

Fantasy Impact:
Quantrill was placed on outright waivers by the Marlins earlier this week. Now, the veteran righty will presumably join a Braves rotation that could certainly use an experienced innings eater the rest of the way out this season. Quantrill holds a lofty 5.50 ERA across 24 starts on the season, but he was pitching quite well from May through July before really struggling over three outings this month.
