Zack Gelof recalled Monday

Fantasy Impact:
Gelof missed most of the first half on the IL before returning to the A's in early July. The third-year second baseman got off to a very rough start, going 2 for 25 with 13 strikeouts over eight games prior to being optioned. Gelof has been crushing the ball since going back to Triple-A. He holds an .888 OPS with 12 homers and 12 steals over 47 games for Las Vegas this year. Gelof will rejoin the A's ahead of Monday's game against the Tigers. Luis Urias has been designated for assignment in a corresponding move.
