Fantasy Impact:
With Jameson Taillon (groin) on the injured list, Assad will take his spot in the rotation and is scheduled to start on Saturday against the Colorado Rockies. In three starts with the Cubs this season, Assad has posted a 3.86 ERA and 1.29 WHIP.
