Chicago White Sox general manager Chris Getz said Colson Montgomery was not in Wednesday's lineup against the Kansas City Royals due to left side soreness. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Montgomery underwent an MRI, which revealed his left side is clean. He missed a game on August 19 due to a similar injury, but it appears that he has not fully recovered. He can be considered day-to-day. If he misses additional games, Chase Meidroth will likely start at shortstop.
