The Baltimore Orioles activated Cody Poteet from the 60-day injured list and outrighted him to Triple-A Norfolk. (MLB.com)

Poteet has been removed from the Orioles' 40-man roster and will remain in the minors after his rehab assignment. He was on the 60-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation after allowing five earned runs across 2.2 innings in his lone appearance with the Orioles.
