The Philadelphia Phillies selected Rafael Lantigua's contract from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday. (MLB.com)

With Edmundo Sosa (groin) placed on the injured list, Lantigua will take his spot on the active roster. Lantigua posted a .232/.359/.333 slash line with 17 stolen bases in 124 games with Triple-A Lehigh Valley this season, and will provide the Phillies with much-needed infield depth.
