Fantasy Impact:
Since being claimed off waivers by the Nationals on September 3, Lao has posted a 1.59 ERA and 1.24 WHIP across 5.2 innings with Triple-A Rochester. He will get an opportunity with the Nationals out of the bullpen, likely in a low-leverage role. In a corresponding move, Orlando Ribalta was optioned to the minors.
