Luis Castillo tossed a stellar six innings, allowing just three hits and no walks while striking out three in Thursday's victory against the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s performance, Castillo now holds a 3.63 ERA and 1.23 WHIP with 10 wins and 8 losses across 31 starts this season. It's been a bit of a down season by Castillo's standard, but he has been servicable for fantasy managers. He's compiled 17 quality starts to give managers volume, but his strikeout rate is the lowest of his career. He'll look to close out his regular season next week against the Rockies.
