Shane Baz shines against the Blue Jays

Shane Baz allowed no earned runs on just two hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings in Thursday's victory against Toronto.
Fantasy Impact:
After today’s win, Baz now holds a 4.99 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with a record of 10-12 across 30 starts this season. This was a nice bounce-back performance after he gave up five runs in 2.1 innings against the Cubs last time out. Baz has been hard to figure out. He started the year with two double-digit strikeout performances in his first three outings, but then he has only reached double digits one other time with plenty of blowups in between. He'll look to stay on track next week against the Orioles.
