Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow said Monday that Roman Anthony is fully recovered from the left oblique strain that ended his season and will have a normal offseason, Rob Bradford of WEEI.com reports. The rookie outfielder missed the final month of the regular season and the playoffs but finished his debut campaign with a .292/.396/.463 slash line, eight home runs, and four steals over 71 games. Fantasy Impact:
Anthony’s clean bill of health is an encouraging sign for his 2026 outlook. The 21-year-old impressed in limited action as a rookie and should enter spring training with a chance to secure a regular role in Boston’s outfield.
