The Yankees have drafted right-handed Cardinals prospect Cade Winquest with the 11th pick in the MLB Rule 5 Draft. (MLB.com)

Winquest, 25, spent the 2025 season between the High-A and Double-A levels in the Cardinals' system, posting a 3.99 ERA in 25 appearances, 23 of which were starts. He must remain on the Yankees' 26-man roster for the entire 2026 season or be offered back to the Cardinals for $50,000.
