Fantasy Impact:
Bednar got off to a subpar start last season and actually ended up in Triple-A Indianapolis for a brief spell before turning his season around. He was traded to the Yankees from the Pirates at the deadline and pitched to a 2.19 ERA with 10 saves in 22 games for New York. He allowed only 14 hits and struck out 35 batters in 24.2 innings with the Yankees. The two-time All-Star closed out a career-high 39 games in Pittsburgh in 2023 and has a career ERA of 3.15 in seven big league seasons. He should continue his role as closer for the Yankees in 2026.
