Anthony Volpe (shoulder) takes live BP Wednesday

Volpe had surgery last October to repair the labrum in his left shoulder and has been targeting a return around May 1. Manager Aaron Boone said Tuesday that Volpe will take live batting practice Wednesday, and if that goes well, a rehab assignment could begin within two weeks. (Talkin' Yanks)
