Shea Langeliers and the Athletics have avoided arbitration and the slugging catcher will make $5.25 million in 2026. (Dylan Quinn on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Langeliers, who just turned 28, has played parts of four seasons with the Athletics. The right-handed hitting catcher enjoyed a breakout season last year as he posted career-best in batting average (.277), home runs (31), hits (133), doubles (32), slugging (.536), and OPS (.861). The former first-round pick by the Braves in 2019 should be one of the first catchers selected in 2026 fantasy drafts.
