Seth Brown signs minor league deal with Yankees

Seth Brown has signed a minor league deal with the New York Yankees. Brown will presumably have an invitation to Spring Training. (Aram Leighton on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Brown played only 38 games with the Athletics last season and batted .185 with one home run in 76 plate appearances. Brown once had some pop in the middle of the Athletics' lineup as he hit 45 home runs between 2021 and 2022. He is a .226 career hitter with 75 home runs in parts of seven seasons - all with the Athletics. Brown does not have a great path to playing time in New York, so, at best, he will either fill a bench role or head to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
