Tres Barrera inks minor league deal with Nationals

Tres Barrera has signed a minor league deal with the Washington Nationals. Barrera also receives an invitation to Spring Training. (Mark Zuckerman on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Barrera has appeared in 57 games across parts of four seasons with the Nationals and Cardinals. He last appeared in six games with the Cardinals in 2023. The catcher will battle for the backup role with the Nationals, but will most likely start the season with Triple-A Rochester.
