Carlos Correa won't participate in World Baseball Classic

Correa failed to receive insurance on his contract and called it "too big of a risk" to be injured and lose out on money for missing regular-season MLB contests. Correa played in 144 games last season between the Twins and Astros, his most since 2021, and said he is healthy and ready to go for spring training.
