Weston Wilson has been designated for assignment by the Baltimore Orioles. The move allows newly-acquired Bryan Ramos a spot on the 40-man roster. (Andy Kostka on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Wilson has played parts of three seasons in the majors - all with Philadelphia. After putting up decent numbers in limited time in 2023 and 2024, Wilson struggled to a .198 average with five home runs in 125 plate appearances last season. All told, the utilityman has batted .242 with nine home runs across 245 career plate appearances. The 31-year-old will look to latch on somewhere else prior to spring training.
