Max Muncy agrees to contract extension with Dodgers

The Los Angeles Dodgers have agreed to terms with Max Muncy on a one-year contract extension for $10 million guaranteed, which includes a $7 million salary for the 2027 season and a $10 million club option for 2028. (Los Angeles Dodgers on Twitter)

The Dodgers picked up his $10 million club option for 2026, and will now keep him under contract through the end of 2027. He posted a .243/.376/.470 slash line with 19 home runs over 388 plate appearances in 2025, and is expected to open 2026 as the team’s starting third baseman.
