Josh Breaux has signed a minor league deal with the Chicago White Sox. He'll presumably be invited to spring training. (MiLB Central on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Breaux, a former second-round pick by the Yankees in the 2018 MLB Draft, has yet to make his major league debut. The 28-year-old catcher has played 406 career minor league games in the Yankees and Phillies organizations and is a lifetime .238 hitter with 76 home runs. Last season, he hit .222 with three home runs in 179 plate appearances between Double-A and Triple-A. He'll provide organizational depth at the catcher position.
