Logan Gillaspie to start Padres Cactus League opener Friday

Logan Gillaspie has been named the Padres starter for their Cactus League opener on Friday against the Mariners. (AJ Cassavell on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Gillaspie had posted a 2.57 ERA in seven innings before getting hurt in April last season. He was designated for assignment when he was activated in June. He'll be competing for a depth role this spring.
