Fantasy Impact:
Blanco has played parts of four seasons in the majors, all with the Royals. He saw decent playing time in 2023 and 2024, combining for 157 games - primarily as a defensive replacement and a pinch-runner - but only appeared in nine contests last season in Kansas City. Blanco has slashed .257/.312/.416 across 285 career plate appearances. He does have 59 stolen bases in 73 attempts, stealing a career-high 31 bags in 2024. The Royals have five days to trade him or place him on waivers.
