Kyle Nicolas traded to Reds for Tyler Callihan

Reliever Kyle Nicolas has been traded from the Pittsburgh Pirates to the Cincinnati Reds. Heading back to Pittsburgh is second baseman/left fielder, Tyler Callihan. (Post-Gazette Sports on X)
Fantasy Impact:
Nicolas, a former second round pick by the Marlins in the 2020 MLB Draft, has pitched parts of three seasons in the big leagues - all with Pittsburgh. Last season, Nicolas appeared in 31 games and finished with a 4.74 ERA and a 1.37 WHIP in 38 innings. He has pitched in 86 career games and has a 4.68 ERA in 98 innings. Nicolas will compete for a low-leverage spot in the Reds' bullpen during the spring.
